The structure of the ALR Extra Bright UST screen is a feat of optical nano-engineering. Its surface is not smooth, but composed of horizontal micro-lamellas in a “sawtooth” pattern, invisible to the naked eye.
Each facet of this structure has a strategic role:
The underside is angled to capture the light coming from below (your ultra-short-throw projector) and reflect it directly back to the audience.
The upper surface is treated with a black absorbent coating. It acts as a visor that blocks light falling from the ceiling or high windows.
