The Showplace Silent model: the perfection of in-ceiling projection
The Lumene Showplace Silent range redefines the standards of architectural integration dedicated to the seventh art. This motorized projection screen is specifically developed to be recessed directly into the false ceiling, making the system totally invisible when not in use. Its motorized underside closes tightly to hide the casing and leave the ceiling perfectly smooth. To guarantee a visual experience worthy of the best cinemas, this model integrates a high-precision lateral tension system. This exclusive technology applies constant tension to the fabric, ensuring absolute and permanent flatness of the projection surface, thereby eliminating any risk of the image warping or distorting.
The exclusive difference from the classic Showplace
The major distinction between the Showplace Silent and the classic Showplace version relies on the integration of a new-generation motor with reinforced sound insulation. Where the classic model already offers excellent integration features, the Silent version pushes mechanical refinement to its climax. The deployment of the fabric and the opening of the trapdoor take place in absolute quiet. This mechanical evolution guarantees total acoustic comfort, ideal for preserving the serenity of the room and the immersion of the spectators even before the viewing begins.
A tailor-made response through four exceptional fabrics
To adapt to the unique configuration of your room, the Showplace Silent is available in four highly technical fabric versions.
The Showplace Silent HD model relies on a robust four-layer structure reinforced with fiberglass, offering perfect resistance to deformation and temperature variations. Its white micro-textured surface, combined with a blackout black backing, sublimates contrast and sharpness for versatile use in a dedicated or semi-dedicated room.
The Showplace Silent Platinum UHD 4K/8K version is aimed at the most advanced private installations. Designed in an exclusive flexible PVC, its surface receives a one-micron optical diamond micro-groove treatment. This cutting-edge technology unleashes the full potential of very high-resolution projectors by guaranteeing absolute respect for original colorimetry and details.
For bright living spaces or untreated living rooms, the Showplace Silent Extrabright LT version integrates quasi-nanometric optical coatings. This ambient light rejecting system deflects stray light from the sun or domestic lighting out of the field of vision, preserving the depth of blacks and the brilliance of colors, even in broad daylight.
Finally, the Showplace Silent Acoustic version is dedicated to exceptional configurations where speakers are hidden behind the screen. Its very high-density micro-perforated weave integrates 92,000 micro-holes per square meter, offering certified acoustic transparency and imperceptible sound attenuation, without ever sacrificing the sharpness of the UHD 4K image.

Lumene expert note: Technical fabrics equipped with ALR LT technology, like the Showplace Silent Extra Bright LT model, are not compatible with projectors using a triple RGB laser light source. Combining these two technologies can lead to undesirable color casts and a significant alteration of color rendering. For any home cinema installation involving a triple RGB laser projector, we imperatively recommend using our models equipped with UHD 4K or UHD 4K/8K fabrics to preserve the integrity of the projected work.
