ALR technology for long-throw projection
With ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) technology applied to long-throw projection, Lumene is revolutionising the home cinema experience. No more compromises: enjoy a rich, high-contrast, bright image, even in rooms flooded with light.

Enjoy a stunning image, even in broad daylight.

Precision optical technology
ALR technology for long focal lengths is based on a special surface treatment consisting of optical microstructures that precisely direct the projector's light towards the viewer while rejecting ambient light. Unlike a conventional white screen, which diffuses all light indiscriminately, an ALR screen distinguishes between useful light (from the video projector) and stray light (from windows, ceiling lights, etc.), to deliver a clear, glare-free image.
Exceptional visual performance
This technology gives you enhanced contrast, deeper blacks and better colour saturation, even in broad daylight. ALR technology allows you to exploit the full potential of your long-focus projector without having to plunge your room into darkness. It is the ideal solution for an uncompromising cinema experience in your living room or lounge.
Long-focus ALR technology
Long-focus ALR technology is now available in three high-end Lumene models, each suited to a specific installation:
Coliseum Extra Bright LT: an easy-to-install motorised wall or ceiling screen, ideal for living rooms and multimedia rooms.
Showplace Extra Bright LT: a motorised ceiling-mounted screen that blends seamlessly into your interior, becoming invisible when retracted.
Eden Extra Bright LT: a motorised floor-mounted screen, perfect for spaces where wall or ceiling mounting is not possible.
Features
Coliseum & Showplace Extra Bright LT: Gain 1.2
Slightly enhances perceived brightness, perfect for rooms with moderate ambient light.
Eden Extra Bright LT: Gain 0.6
Offers superior contrast and a cinema-like look, recommended for spaces where you want precise control over the projected light.
Viewing angle: 140°
A wide viewing angle allows multiple viewers to enjoy a uniform, bright image without loss of quality outside the central axis.
Colour reproduction: 99%
The screen preserves colour fidelity for a natural and accurate image. Colours are rich and without drift, which is essential for a cinema experience or visual presentation.
Light rejection rate: ≥ 85%
Rejects at least 85% of lateral or incident ambient light. This provides better contrast and clear image viewing even in daylight or in a brightly lit room.
